Overall, it is worth noting the low level of readiness of Ukrainian manufacturers in several aspects for signing direct contracts, especially with retailers in the advanced economies of the EU.
Despite all the negative factors and a number of missed opportunities by manufacturers in signing multimillion-euro contracts, I have several successful cases of bringing products (food and non-food) to retail (Kaufland International, EDEKA Group) as well as B2B.
And the signing of direct contracts (two) in 2023 with a division of EDEKA Group for the supply of fresh blueberries is generally a historic event for the industry.
